Regarding my business relationship with Devil Dog Arms:

As some of you may know, for the past few years I had a business relationship with Devil Dog Arms as the manufacturer of my signature Girl’s Guide to Guns AR-15 rifles. It has come to light that the now former head of the company lied about serving in the United States Marine Corps. As a result, Devil Dog Arms has closed its doors and Girls Guide to Guns no longer has any affiliation with the company.

I, like many others, have been blind sided by the falsified military record. Stolen valor is unacceptable. As the daughter and granddaughter of Veterans, my love for our country and respect for those who have served are two of my most cherished values. To have entered into a business deal with someone who would lie about serving, thereby inadvertently misleading my own customers and friends, pains me greatly.

To the owners of the Devil Dog/Girl’s Guide rifle: know that men and women who honorably served our nation, including in the Marine Corps, contributed to the design, manufacturing and/or sales of the signature firearm. Rest assured that your purchase contributed to the livelihoods of several Veterans.

On a personal note, in light of my faith and the experience of ultimate forgiveness in my own life, I feel compelled toward the eventual forgiveness of the disrespectful actions that have caused this situation. I sincerely hope everyone involved can move forward with valuable lessons learned.

I’ll be happy to try to answer any questions you may have. Moving forward, Girl’s Guide will continue to bring you content and new products that honor the values we hold dear.

Thank you for your time.
