It’s a particularly famous round because the media and attorneys used to say the coating on them allowed the bullet to penetrate kevlar vests (which is false), they were the original “cop killer bullet” in the 90s.

Example of rounds that shouldn’t be shot in a Glock 19 are 9×18 Makarov, .380 Auto aka 9mm Kurz / Browning / Etc., 9×23 Winchester, etc. A .380 ACP will go down the barrel in a pinch, but it will not be accurate and will malfunction quite a bit.
